Vince Carter is an icon in Canada. Half man, half amazing, VC inspired Canadians during his time with the Toronto Raptors. He was the face of the Toronto franchise and although there were some rocky moments, he's still beloved in this city.
Speaking of Toronto and Canada, the NBA is full of incredibly talented Canadian players and Jamal Murray is most certainly one of them. The Nuggets' star squared off with Carter and the Hawks Monday night and he got a special gift from the player that inspired him as a child.
Carter has said this season could be his last, but we'll wait for the official announcement from him before we assume that's going to be the case.
That said, the fact that he could very well call it a career at the end of the season makes these matchups even more special to players like Murray.
