The New England Patroits are in the Super Bowl, which means that they will not be participating in any Pro Bowl Weekend festivities. Well, there is one Patriot that decided to make the trip.
Pat Patriot, the beloved New England mascot, decided he would make the trip solo to the Pro Bowl to make sure the Pats were still represented. What’s the old saying, it’s all fun and games until someone gets hurt?
Well, unfortunately for Pat, that someone was him. Jamal Adams, a safety for the Pats’ division rival New York Jets, decided he was going to make a joke tackle on the mascot.
While he may not have intended to injure, the massive tackle ended up hurting the mascot, who went to the hospital in the end.
Adams wanted it to be clear that he was joking, but he decided to deliver that message to start off what ends up being a fairly obnoxious message:
So, would he do it again if he knew the Patriots head cheerleader would be left injured and in hospital?
