Jalen Ramsey has always been honest when it comes to critiquing players or sharing how he feels about anything football related and not everyone is a fan of the honesty.
Some view Ramsey as overrated and cocky because of the trash talk and his honest opinion on players. The truth is he's one of, if not the best cornerback in football and he's not afraid to give his honest opinion, which he did in GQ Magazine, about a number of quarterbacks in the NFL.
Ramsey didn't hold back and we love that he didn't.
It's ironic, in a sense, because we all want athletes to ditch the cliches and tell us how they really feel about players they face, but when they do, fans call them out for doing so.
Ramsey, however, doesn't care if a few people don't like him because of what he has to say.
Were some of his takes too harsh? Sure, but if that's how he feels about Matt Ryan, Josh Allen, Andrew Luck, Joe Flacco, Ben Roethlisberger, etc, who are we to say his takes were too harsh?
If anything, we should be praising Ramsey for his honesty and looking forward to when he faces these quarterbacks (he'll face Eli, Dak, Luck twice, Big Ben, Tannehill, and possibly Josh Allen this season).
Also, we'd be doing a disservice to the public if we didn't share this last quote from Ramsey about his own QB, Blake Bortles:
