Jalen Ramsey comes through with thousands of dollars in gift cards for families in L.A.

It’s the season of giving south of the border, and athletes across the nation are doing their best to give back. For some, it may be participating in handing out food, for others, it may be surprising fans with messages.

For Jalen Ramsey, he wanted to go the extra mile.

During a turkey giveaway in L.A., Ramsey teamed up with Vons to distribute $20,000 worth of groceries in gift cards. The selfless act comes just in time for Thanksgiving, and will hopefully help families in need enjoy a nice Thanksgiving dinner.

It's not the first time Ramsey has gotten involved with giving back to the community. He also donated $1 million to the Purpose Prep Academy in his hometown of Nashville.
