It’s okay to celebrate a goal and all, but players really just need to CHILL sometimes.

Emotions (and more importantly adrenaline) can get the best of any player and unfortunately for David Pastrnak, it almost left him with a nasty injury after his teammate Jake DeBrusk demolished him while celebrating the Bruins’ third goal of the night.

Pasta found DeBrusk with a beautiful cross ice pass in front of Henrik Lundqvist’s crease and as he skated behind the net, DeBrusk caught him off guard and tackled him to the ground while celebrating. Come on Jake, this dude’s your teammate. Be careful out there!!!!

Bruins fans didn’t seem to fond of what they witnessed…

Even DeBrusk himself was concerned about it after!

The hit was huge and all but honestly, Steve Yzerman getting demolished after scoring his Game winner in Game 7 against St. Louis in 1996 is still unmatched.

This wasn’t Pasta’s only memorable moment from the evening. He was the subject of an awkward sequence that took place on NBC’s Wednesday Night Hockey broadcast, for context we’ll let the video do the talking here.

Well, this was confusing ☕️🍝🤣. . (H/T NBC Sports)

We all know that Pasta broke injured his thumb recently on an awkward fall after a Bruins event. They don’t need any more freak and unnecessary injuries for crying out loud!
