Bryce Harper and the Phillies are off to a pretty decent start to what many expect to be a very good year. Through 22 games, the Phillies are tied with the Mets for first in the NL East thanks to a New York win Monday night.
Harper, meanwhile, is hitting .272 and has five home runs in the early portion of his first season in Philadelphia. In his latest outing, though, it wasn't the long ball that made headlines. It was getting ejected for arguing with the home-plate umpire.
Harper was clearly upset and he wasn't the only Philadelphia player feeling frustrated. Jake Arrieta, who was on the mound for the game, was upset that Harper took himself out of the game by choosing to confront the umpire.
Some strong words to say the least and it won't take long to see how Arrieta's teammates respond to those words as they play the Mets again Tuesday night.
