The Jacksonville Jaguars are preparing to be without top running back Travis Etienne Jr. for an undetermined amount of time.

Coach Doug Pederson said Monday that Etienne is week-to-week with a hamstring injury he suffered in the Jaguars' 35-16 loss to the Chicago Bears on Sunday at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.

Etienne had three carries for minus-1 yards and one catch for zero yards before leaving the game. Pederson said Etienne got hurt on a deep pass route.

Etienne is the Jaguars' second-leading rusher (230 yards) and is averaging 4.1 yards per carry. He also has 16 catches for 91 yards.

Second-year back Tank Bigsby, who leads the Jaguars in rushing (297 yards) and is averaging an NFL-best 7.2 yards per carry, likely will take over as the lead back and be backed up by veteran D'Ernest Johnson (67 yards rushing).
