What started with the Milwaukee Bucks taking a stand against racism and police brutality has quickly spread across leagues from the NBA to the NFL, WNBA, MLB, NHL, MLS, and more.

Teams across the entire sports world have been making a very powerful statement in boycotting, cancelling, and postponing both practices and games to amplify the voice for social justice and against racism. Something that has been fought in sports over many years through voices such as Muhammad Ali, Tommie Smith and John Carlos, and Jackie Robinson, to name a few.

Friday has been named Jackie Robinson Day 2020, where we remember the incredible history that was made as Robinson became the first Black man in Major League Baseball and all that he accomplished in the fight for equality.

Jackie Robinson's daughter believes her father would be very proud of the work and ongoing fight for racial justice that's we're seeing today.

As the fight still continues to be supported through athletes across all sports who use their voice and platform, standing in solidarity with teammates, staff, and fans for justice, equality and awareness.
