Jack Eichel is stepping up in a very big way.
On Wednesday, the Buffalo Sabres captain took to social media to announce that he’s purchased 5,000 personal protective equipment (PPE) masks that will be distributed to different hospitals throughout Western New York.
Eichel is teaming up with Bauer, who recently created special face shields for healthcare workers, to make sure that hospital workers within Western New York get the proper protection that they need.
The Bauer team was quick to react to the coronavirus pandemic with their design and did an extremely admirable thing by sharing their design with companies everywhere in order to get as many made as possible in a short period of time.
