Voting is an important part of the democratic process and can be a stressful time for many people, but Bauer Hockey decided to have some fun with the process by getting fans to vote on the Mayor of Boomtown.
Candidates included Jack Eichel, Nikita Kucherov and Hilary Knight, and it was the Buffalo Sabres captain who came out on top. As a way to celebrate his recent victory on becoming the Mayor of Boomtown, Eichel challenged fans to try the #2PuckChallenge.
Not only is Eichel challenging fans to attempt the #2PuckChallenge, but Bauer Hockey is giving away a 2S Pro stick signed by the Sabres captain to one person who can do the best impression of Eichel’s challenge.
It was a very close call as the voting came right down to the wire, but you can now refer to Eichel as the Mayor of Boomtown.
