Jack Eichel is one of the most outgoing players in the NHL and it’s clear he likes to have fun, but the lack of success has turned some of that energy sour in recent years.

Eichel is clearly committed to bringing success to the Sabres (He signed an 8-year $80-million extension with Buffalo), but he has voiced his displeasure with losing. Fans have also started showing their displeasure with the team’s performance through their attendance to games. Eichel doesn’t blame them though.

He’s not wrong.

The Sabres have the lowest goals for total in the entire NHL. Their last place in the NHL as well, which on the bright side for fans, will give them the best shot in the league at Rasmus Dahlin. The dynamic defenceman from Sweden is a highly coveted prize at this year’s NHL draft, so perhaps the Sabres will be scoring a little more if they can add him to the lineup.

The fans will no doubt start showing up when they can see those two players on the ice together.
