TSN’s own Jack Armstrong has taken his signature catchphrase to a new level.
Raptors fans have become very familiar with Armstrong’s classic “get that garbage outta here”, which can usually be heard more than once during a broadcast. But the 55-year-old decided to put it to use off the court, teaming up with the City of Toronto to produce one of the better commercials you’ll ever see. The premise of the commercial is to remind fans to not throw their garbage out in recycling and “recycle right.”
Gotta love Jack!
The Brooklyn native has never been one to hide his emotions. He more recently made headlines when a group of beers hit the deck during Game 2 of the Raptors’ playoff series against the Washington Wizards. The man even shed a few tears.

Armstrong’s eye for basketball is undeniable, but it’s nice to see he’s doing some work in the community. Just make sure you GET THAT GARBAGE in the right bin.
