He’s just 20 years old and not even through his first season, but Ja Morant has been an immensely likeable young player in the NBA so far, and the way he carries himself off the floor is as much a reason for that as his actual play.
On Wednesday, Morant surprised his dad Tee with a brand new car and took to Instagram Story to capture his extremely heartwarming reaction.
For those who might have a longer memory here, you might remember when Morant’s dad became a popular topic at last year’s draft, after Morant said that negative energy didn’t affect him because his dad was his first hater.
Obviously, it’s all love between father and son here. Tee Morant previously considered playing pro basketball, and taught a young Ja many of the moves that he’s taken to the NBA today. Seems like it’s all working out for them!
