J Cole is one of the biggest names in rap at the moment, and recently he was hoping to make a name for himself elsewhere as well; the world of professional basketball.
J Cole hit the headlines for making his debut with the Rwanda Patriots the very same week he released his 2021 album, The Off-Season. While we were all hoping he would absolutely ball out, J Cole had a much more modest start with the Patriots.
He scored on one rebound, while also draining a technical free throw. He managed to score two more point in his next two games.
That would essentially be it for the rapper from North Carolina. On Wednesday, reports surfaced that J Cole would be leaving the Patriots due to family obligations.
Five points, three assists, and five rebound may be J Cole’s final stat line in professional basketball. While the Twitter trolls are obviously out in full force, that’s five points, three assists, and five rebounds more than most rappers will ever record.
Congrats on the very short career!
