Because of his outspokenness, Jalen Ramsey isn’t the most popular man in the NFL. He’ll take jabs at opposing quarterbacks and even claim that he could make the NHL if given six months to learn the sport.
But even Ramsey isn’t afraid of extending across the field when it comes to a competitor he respects, and his Jacksonville Jaguars faced off with one such player this week: Odell Beckham Jr.
Ramsey and OBJ linked up to swap jerseys and snap a quick photo, a nice little gesture of mutual respect between the two stars.
Whether you agree or disagree with his individual opinions, it is refreshing to see a player such as Ramsey who is so open about his views on other players, whether positive or negative. Too many players only speak positively about others in fear of backlash, but that’s isn't as fun. Let them get their takes off, we say.
But, if you are one of Ramsey’s naysayers, you might find some common ground with some of the NHLers that he ticked off with his comments about hockey.
