As their core ages, each year that the Boston Bruins fail to succeed in their ultimate goal of winning a Stanley Cup probably stings a little more with the realization that the best days of their current era might be behind them.

This year, the Bruins managed to take down the favoured Capitals in the first round of the playoffs, but fell to the Islanders in the second round. While the loss definitely stings, there will always be one silver lining to any loss they face: they’ll always have 2011.

It might have since been overshadowed by the unparalleled Summer of Ovi Cup celebration, but the Bruins’ 2011 Stanley Cup win was nothing short of iconic.

The series was an unforgettable one that saw the B’s defeat the Vancouver Canucks in 7 Games, and the city of Vancouver subsequently burn.

While today isn’t the anniversary of the day that they won the Cup, it is the anniversary of another particularly iconic moment from the win.

Ten years ago today was the day of the Bruins parade, and the night before, the B’s went to the bar for what seems like a very casual night. Of course, we’re just kidding. The photo of their bar tab surfaced after their big night on the town, and it’s one of the most absurd things we’ve seen to date.

We know that the bill reads June 18th, but we’re going to go ahead and assume they left after midnight.

While we know that all Stanley Cup celebrations are probably wild, the 2011 Bruins really set the bar for just how crazy they have to be.
