Professional hockey will be retuning to Seattle and soon, the NHL will have 32 teams. At this moment, we just don't know what the name of that 32nd franchise is going to be.
We know the team will be playing in Seattle (obviously, duh), but the name, logo, jersey, and most importantly players are all unknowns right now. That said, we're starting to get some information as far as the name of the team and logo is concerned.
Seattle NHL's Twitter account is sporting the logo, too, and it's created a larger conversation about if the actual logo will be totally different or if the placeholder logo is a sign of things to come. Most concept jerseys we've seen haven't incorporated red and black, so it will be interesting to see what direction Seattle goes. (H/T: /r/hockey)
