There are two sides to sports. The glory, the heartbreak. Kawhi Leonard and the Raptors are NBA champions, and the city of Toronto is on top of the world. Unfortunately, not everything ends well.
If you were hoping that Kawhi would one day take ownership of the large plant promised to him by the Raptors fan known only as “Plant Guy,” we unfortunately have bad news.
Oh no! Although Plant Guy went viral on the night that the Raptors won it all, we never really found out what happened to the plant. Maybe it’s a bit crazy to think that he actually would’ve brought the plant home with him after a night of celebrating the championship, but in that case, call us crazy for wanting to believe in something.
We can only dream about what could've been.
