It’s never easy to move up a weight class as a fighter, but Israel Adesanya showed us why he’s one of the greatest in the sport.

Adesanya entered Saturday night’s main event against Jan Blachowicz in search of becoming just the 5th person in UFC history to hold the title in two divisions at the same time, but instead he came up short in the five-round thriller that left him with his first loss in his UFC career.

Even though Adesanya failed to win another title and was handed his first loss, he went the distance and lasted until the very end against a fighter who was clearly bigger than him. But Blachowicz is the title holder in the division for a reason and he showed everyone why in many ways.

Did the judges get it right?
