New York Islanders fans have not been fond of president and general manager Garth Snow for quite some time now but they’ve finally hit their boiling point.
On Wednesday, Islanders fans got a Go Fund Me page going to raise funds for a “SNOW MUST GO” poster board that they plan on putting up within a half mile of the Barclays Center.
The Islanders fans who set up the page listed the goal at $2,725, with $2,500 going towards the four-week rental of the billboard and $225 going to the printing company.
If you’re wondering how badly Isles fans want to see Snow go, 157 people came together to raise a total of $3,337 in a matter of three hours, shattering the initial goal by $612.
Considering they reached their initial goal in three hours, they might consider raising enough money to keep the billboard up for the remainder of the season.
If it doesn’t work for them this year, at least they’ll be looking at cheaper advertising space when they leave Brooklyn.
