Some of the teams that passed up on Tyler Herro in the 2019 NBA Draft might be punching the air right now.
The Miami Heat are on their way to the NBA finals and Herro is having a spectacular run in the playoffs.
In a press conference on Tuesday, he mentioned being picked 13th overall in the draft, noting that he remembers all the names picked before him and how he uses that as motivation.
Isaiah Thomas, who was the final pick in the 2011 NBA Draft, chimed in.
Thomas also used his draft spot as motivation during his time in Boston when he had the opportunity to help lead the Celtics into a deep playoff run.
