Things have cooled down since the big fish were scooped up in NHL free agency, but a graphic artist is still trying to make some noise in the offseason.
Dylan Nowak, a Buffalo based sports fan with a knack for creating eye-catching concept jerseys, took a shot at designing a new uniform for the Winnipeg Jets. Nowak attempted to combine the team's’ current sweater with the throwbacks they wore for the 2016 Heritage classic, and the results turned out quite nicely. Here’s a look at what he was able to come up with:
Those military stripes on the sleeves are pretty snazzy!
This isn’t the first time Nowak has given the Jets’ uniform a full makeover. This past season he used the new logo on an old-school jersey, which proved to have a pretty interesting look.
The Jets aren’t the only NHL team he’s revamped either. Others include the Toronto Maple Leafs and Anaheim Ducks, to name a few.
If you’re looking for someone to design a new jersey for your upcoming hockey league in September, this might be your guy.
