Nikita Kucherov is living his best life right now. He’s winning Cups, speaking to the media without a shirt on (likely not sober, too), and apparently meeting some of his favourite hockey players from when he was a kid as well.
Friend of the program Igor Larionov II is quite the follow on Twitter, and if you don’t follow him, then you missed out on a pretty great tweet he shared on Thursday night. The 22-year-old explained how he was out for his dinner on Wednesday when Kucherov called Igor Sr. to let him know he was his idol as a kid. Apparently he didn’t just say it once either…
Yeah, that’d be a cool one to witness. What a night it was all around for Kuch, who also took a healthy shot at Habs fans while addressing the media. This man has no cares left to give!

The legacy of Kucherov continues… maybe one day a younger Russian player will be calling him and his son to say the same thing after capturing the Cup?
