The Toronto Raptors finished one win shy of tying their franchise record for most wins in a season, but many basketball fans would agree that this current Raptors team features the greatest roster in franchise history.
With that being said, the Raptors’ popularity also seems to be at an all-time high thanks in part to their current roster and the merchandise sales prove it. On Thursday the NBA revealed the top 10 list for the most popular team merchandise at the end of the season and the Raptors came in at No. 9 on the list.
The league’s top teams ended up sandwiched between the Los Angeles Lakers and the New York Knicks, and it’s pretty obvious how the Lakers came in at No. 1 since LeBron James took the top spot on their top 15 most popular NBA jerseys list.
Unfortunately for the Raptors, none of their players ended up on the top 15 list but they're probably happy about cracking the top 10 since they were excluded last season.
However, if Kawhi Leonard ends up signing a long-term deal this offseason you can expect to see his name on that top 15 list at the end of next season.
