The Winnipeg Jets came into the 2017-18 NHL season without a playoff series win, but now they find themselves four wins away from a trip to the Stanley Cup Final and eight wins away from hoisting the first Stanley Cup in franchise history.
Considering the Preds were the favourites across the league to not only represent the West in the Stanley Cup but to win the whole thing, the Jets put all of their talents on display with the entire hockey community watching on in a crucial Game 7 and they did not disappoint. As a result of clinching their first trip to the Western Conference Final, fans from far and wide showed the only remaining Canadian team plenty of love.

Good for the people of #Winnipeg and the @NHLJets. Well deserved for a loyal group of fans. I can still hear the roar from fans in Minnesota when Mark Chipman announced the team would be called "Jets" before selecting Mark Scheifele in 1st round of 2011 #NHL draft.
