Hockey players usually prefer arriving at a hockey game in style.

Usually.

Old teammates Marc-Andre Fleury and Kris Letang aren’t typically exceptions. Both are often seen arriving at the rink in suits with a coffee in their hand just a few hours before puck drop. But something was different this time around and it had to do with their method of transportation. Instead of showing up to the All-Star game in a nice car or team bus, the two were seen approaching the SAP Center on electric scooters.

Could they look any happier! Fans were loving what they were seeing.

Flower and Tanger go way back. The French duo played in Pittsburgh together from 2006-17 where they captured three Stanley Cups. Their streak was ultimately snapped when Fleury was plucked by the Vegas Golden knights in the 2017 NHL expansion draft.

Some fans are critical of the All-Star Game but at least it’s an opportunity for old teammates to come together and catch up during the NHL season.
