On Thursday afternoon, Seattle officially unveiled its hockey team's name, logo(s) and jerseys through an online stream on its social accounts, and they received plenty of positive feedback from fans. Both jerseys are beautiful, but hockey fans noticed one thing... there was no third jersey to be found!
Thirds usually come a few years into existence (the Golden Knights still don't have one!) but we figured we would mock up our own using the team's secondary anchor logo. Not to sound bias or anything, but we think it's pretty sweet...
Those are pretty sweet... just sayin'!
The third logo can be found on the shoulders of the home and away jerseys, and contain a sublet detail that pays homage to the city. In case you didn't notice the anchor contains Seattle's Space Needle. Take a look!
So what do you think? Should Seattle eventually go with something like this? It sure would fit in nicely with their other unis!
