All hockey fans want is the return of the Quebec Nordiques. Not just because it could mean another team for Canada, but more importantly, it could potentially mark the comeback of one of the greatest jerseys the league has ever seen.
The classic light blue, red and white tarps were nothing short of beautiful when guys like Mats Sundin and Joe Sakic rocked them back in the day and if they were to make a comeback, we have a bit of an idea of what they could look like, thanks to a user on reddit who attempted to modernize the old ones. There aren't too many differences, but this version definitely appears to be less boxy and includes a message on the collar that Quebecers will surely appreciate.
Take a look!
Long live the Nordiques!
This isn't the first concept Nordiques jersey we've featured on the site before. A different artist went for a much busier look and even threw in a red third. Thoughts on this one?
The Avs are reportedly considering bringing back the Nordiques jersey for their 25th anniversary and you can imagine how happy that would make their fans, Quebecers, and basically everyone who appreciates hockey.
Do it!!!!
