Hockey fans absolutely loved Wes McCauley's dramatic and emphatic no-goal call in the Leafs game

Thursday night's Islanders and Leafs game had a playoff atmosphere, mostly due to the fact that John Tavares was returning to Long Island for the first time and the fans wanted nothing more than to boo him and see their team win.

The game truly had a bit of everything, including an offside review and of all the officials in the NHL, the legendary Wes McCauley just so happened to be the one to make the review announcement.

GOAT is a term reserved for the best-of-the-best and McCauley is that and then some.

Leafs thought they had one. Isles challenge for offside. Wes McCauley tells everyone here that after reviewing the play, it was determined that the play was................offside, no goal.
