The Philadelphia Flyers started the week by revealing their new mascot Gritty and, as you’ve probably seen by now, there were a lot of mixed reactions to the design of the character.
While Gritty has certainly become a star in just a few days, there are plenty of fans around the league who are still pretty terrified with the whole design of the mascot. Our BarDown Toonz cartoonist Pengellyink had some fun with Gritty and the fans who are terrified of him by adding him to some of the scariest Halloween characters.
We’re really hoping that a lot of people attempt to recreate Gritty as a Halloween costume because they’ll certainly be the hit of the party.
