Coaches might not necessarily enjoy an ice or Gatorade shower, but they're not exactly supposed to lash out on one of their players when they get soaked, right?

Well, one Kansas high school coach doesn’t believe in that notion.

Randy Dreiling's St Thomas Aquinas high school club won their first-ever state championship in the school's history this past weekend.

We've seen countless examples over the years in football where the winning coach gets a full cooler of Gatorade or water dumped over them, which is quite the customary move whenever a winning team claims a title.

But Dreiling didn't want to partake in the football ritual, as shown below when one of his players gave him an ice bath.

Check out the photos for an up-close look at Greiling's reaction.

If you look closely, poor No. 3 wasn't even the main culprit, as he merely assisted in liting the jug. Even though the ice water mostly missed the coach, it was No. 77 that did most of the damage.

A local reporter managed to catch up with the coach following the game (skip ahead to 2:42 to hear his thoughts on the ice bath).

“No, not a fan of the ice bath. No, nobody ever gives me ice baths. That was a bad deal.”

Cold as ice.
