It’s finally back!
Arguably the best tournament in sports is just a few days away and basketball fans across the world are gearing up for the madness. TNT announced the teams participating in the Big Dance and their position within their region. Virginia was named the tournament’s number one overall seed while Xavier, Villanova and Kansas were also named the top team in their section.
Teams, and fans reacted to what should be a wide open tournament.
Fans were particularly disgruntled with Oklahoma making the tournament, who went just 2-9 at home heading into today’s announcement.
North Carolina enters the tournament as the defending champs and will attempt to become the first team since Florida in 2006/07 to win back-to-back NCAA Division I titles.

Given the madness the tournament has provided in recent years, we advise viewers to prepare for the unexpected. Tops seeds will go likely go down early and at least one bottom seed will probably make a Cinderella run of sorts. We’re just hoping that things stay interesting throughout its entirety and that a champion is crowned in dramatic fashion.
