Henrik Lundqvist has been the New York Rangers’ starting goalie since the 2005-06 season and he has set just about every single one of the franchise’s goalie records along the way.

The 37-year-old is one of the most fashionable players in the league, and has been for as long as we can remember, so he’s managed to make a name for himself outside of the hockey world.

However, just because someone plays in Manhattan, has their own clothing line, and are one of the winningest goalies in NHL history, it doesn’t mean that everyone is going to recognize them or know their past.

Lazlo Holmes is one of those people.

After spending a couple of minutes with Lundqvist, Holmes came to the conclusion that the Rangers netminder would be Steve Nash if he was an NBA player and that he looks a lot like David Beckham.

Let’s do that hockey.
