The NBA trade deadline has come and gone and the Toronto Raptors were involved in some of the action, flipping Jonas Valanciunas, Delon Wright, C.J. Miles and a 2024 second-round pick to acquire Marc Gasol.

Despite a few cameos in the rumor mill, primarily involving Grizzlies guard Mike Conley as well as the Utah Jazz, Kyle Lowry was held by the Raptors through the trade deadline. In fact, he’s one of just nine Raptors available for tonight’s game against the Atlanta Hawks.

For Hawks fans in attendance, it was really just easy material. They busted out the “should have been traded” chant for Lowry, while also directing some of their ire towards Serge Ibaka as well.

It seems the chants came from one specific section in the audience, so they weren't discernible in the broadcast. Still, a pretty brutal chirp. The Hawks may be a lowly team this year, but they’ve led the Raps by double-digits for most of the game — at halftime, they hold a 68-60 lead. So, why not talk some trash as well?

Crowd chants about trade chatter seem to be popular among NBA crowds this year, although most of it has been directed at LeBron’s Los Angeles Lakers. Although those Lakers weren’t able to swing any major trades at the deadline this year, they’ve been at the forefront of the rumor mill thanks to Anthony Davis’ trade request, and current players such as Brandon Ingram have experienced the consequences.

"LeBron's gonna trade you!" Pacers fans have ZERO chill right now 😬
