Gregg Popovich is widely regarded as the best coach in all of basketball, and he has a case for being the best coach in sports.

Admittedly, part of that reputation has to come from the fact that everyone loves him. Media, players, fans, everybody that consumes sports in some way has seen a Pop half-time interview and gained an appreciation for his humorous takes on something that we probably take too seriously at times.

The latest example of this was last night with Jeff van Gundy.

As usual, the Spurs are chugging along as another powerhouse in the West and they don't even have their MVP candidate playing yet.

However, clearly Pop had something up his sleeve. If it's easy as begging, we're sure Raptors fans would appreciate a similar tactic from head coach Dwane Casey. It seems unlikely, but people have been trying to copy the Spurs model for years -- perhaps the secret ingredient was just revealed.

We somehow doubt it, but perhaps we'll have to ask Bill Belichek if he employs a similar strategy.

Both seem to have unprecedented success in their leagues, so perhaps there are some comparables.
