Grateful Dead have one of the most loyal followings of any bands, so it shouldn’t be a surprise that someone finally created a jersey for Dead Heads.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers were listed as the number 57 on Rolling Stone’s list of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time in 2004, and a version of their band continues to tour as recently as last month. They came to be in what is often referred to as the hippie era of pop culture and music, rising to prominence in the famous Haight-Ashbury region of San Francisco where Jefferson Airplane and Janis Joplin also resided.
With that said, it should come as no surprise that these Dead Heads decided to make their beer-league tribute to the band a tie dye one.
This isn’t the first cross section between Grateful Dead fans and hockey either.
The Florida Panthers have hosted a Grateful Dead night, Warrior has a bunch of different Grateful Dead gear (Although it’s mainly lacrosse stuff), tons of Steal Your Faceoff gear and plenty of other jersey designs.
