We were blown away when we first found out Nike was actually making the self-tying shoes from ‘Back to the Future’. After all, it’s not every day you come across a pair of shoes that lace up all by themselves. As amazing as self-tying shoes might be, we’ve come across a new style of shoes that blows those ones out of the water.
Pizza Hut has gone above and beyond for this year’s March Madness tournament by creating what might just be the greatest shoes of all-time. Known as the ‘Pie Tops’, these limited edition high-top shoes use geolocation to allow wearers to order pizza from wherever they are at that time.
The button on the tongue of the shoes connect to an app called Pie Topps, which orders the pizza for you to your current location.
The idea came from ad agency Droga5 and were handmade by the Shoe Surgeon, Dominic Chambrone.
Only 64 pairs of the shoe were made, according to Adweek, and will be handed out to influencers and people in the media in hopes of them being able to amplify the message to a larger following.
