Golf is a sport of intense precision, and it’s a sport where the best seem to be in total control of their game. Saying that, there are some elements in the game that you absolutely cannot control.
The weather, for instance, is something that can often interfere. That’s not all, though. Being a game that is played over large stretches of land, golfers are also vulnerable to wildlife. While most animals stay away, recognizing that the courses are heavily trafficked by humans, some don’t seem to mind the extra attention. Enter turkey.
What was that turkey trying to do? What would it have done if it had caught them? Or was it merely trying to chase away the golfers in a similar manner to how your elderly neighbor may chase you down the street, waving a fist and shouting “you stinkin’ kids!”
Recently the wildlife around golf courses has been getting out of control. From alligators to kangaroos, they seem to be developing some sort of hubris of late.
