The Vegas Golden Knights have been one of the greatest stories this NHL season and the team plans on keeping their Cinderella story going throughout the NHL playoffs.

Instead of putting together an awesome promo to play on the jumbotron head of the team’s first postseason game in franchise history, they got things underway in Las Vegas fashion as actors took to the ice to perform a mini show which involved a Knights and a Kings fan going toe-to-toe at centre ice in a medieval-style battle.

With the team hosting their first postseason game in franchise history on Wednesday night, the scenes outside and inside the arena before the game were absolutely insane.

As fans took the escalators up to their seats, one of the escalators on the main concourse was reserved for the team’s official drum line and the cheerleaders as they got the crowd pumped up well before puck drop.

As if the place wasn’t loud enough already, Shea Theodore opened up the scoring with the first playoff goal in Golden Knights history just 3:23 into the game.
