Goalies at the KHL All Star Game are having way too much fun

The KHL All Star Event has been going on for the past few days, and let’s be honest, the NHL could learn a lot by watching the KHL festivities.

The best part about it has been the participation of the goalies. Normally in all-star games, defense doesn’t exist and the goalies get endlessly scored on. In the KHL, goalies are doing absolutely everything.

There’s so much going on in this clip. The goalie clearly has to brush up on face-offs. Especially when you lose to a guy using the butt-end of his hockey stick. The goal was also scored by a #99 Gretzky. Vyachesav Gretsky that is. 

Aside from this unfortunate face-off, we’ve also seen goalies taking part in the shoot-out.

Although the lacrosse attempt didn’t work out, he’s got some pretty good dangles for a netminder. Maybe he should have gone with the rock-paper-scissors strategy instead.
