The one problem with playing for charity is that one charity has to lose. While both charities being represented at the NBA All-Star Game were hugely benefitted as a result of the event, Team LeBron definitely delivered a larger haul ($400,000) for winning the 1st and 4th quarter (which included the winnings of the 3rd quarter, in which the teams tied), and the game.

Team Giannis only won the 2nd quarter, which resulted in $100,000 for “After School Matters”. In appreciation of the charity supporting Team Giannis through the game, the Milwaukee Bucks star announced the team would be donating an additional $100,000 to the cause.

What an incredible showing of generosity from Giannis and his All-Star teammates. The charity certainly appreciated the gesture, and sent out a thank you tweet to the entire team!

While people are talking about the competitiveness and entertainment at this year’s showcase, THIS is what it’s really all about.
