Germany’s men’s national hockey team shocked the world when pulled off the 4-3 victory over Team Canada to clinch a spot in the gold medal game at this year’s Winter Olympics.

Although this year’s tournament is different from recent years because of the fact that there are no current NHL players representing the countries, the Canadians still entered the tournament with the second-best odds to take home gold, while the Germans were ranked eighth out of a possible 12 nations to win it all.

While non-Canadian hockey fans around the world were happy to see Team Canada eliminated by Team Germany, the German Foreign Office issued one of the best tweets after the game reminding German citizens how to act after the big victory.

This is easily one of the best reaction tweets from the game. They’d obviously like to take home the gold medal at this year’s Olympics, but either way the team has made the nation proud as they’ll be bringing home either the country’s first gold medal or silver medal in men’s hockey.
