We all know how nasty college football rivalries can get, with fans of all ages relentlessly representing their teams until the bitter end. It seems like the “taking things to far” rule does not apply when it comes to college sports.
On Saturday, the Georgia Bulldogs took the Auburn Tigers to town with a huge 28-7 victory in the SEC Championship. The neighbouring states have always maintained a bitter rivalry, and on Sunday one Bulldogs fan made sure that the Auburn faithful remembered how the game had ended. This is the Bulldogs fan’s 8am wake-up call.
The fan’s name is Jon Gloer, and his early morning speech went viral to the tune of over a million views. The pajama-clad ‘Dawgs fan has been called everything from funny to petty, but one things for sure – he’s passionate.
