The 2018 NFL season has definitely been one to forget for the San Francisco 49ers. From Jerick McKinnon tearing his ACL before the start of the season to Jimmy Garoppolo tearing his ACL just three weeks into the season, Niners fans haven’t had much to cheer about.

However, if there’s one piece of their offence that should give them feeling a little optimistic about the near future is tight end George Kittle. A fifth round pick in that last year’s draft, the 25-year-old sits second among tight ends with 1,154 receiving yards this season, and is just 66 yards back of leader Travis Kelce with 21 less receptions.

Following San Fran’s overtime victory over the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday afternoon, Kittle revealed how big of a wrestling fan he truly is at the podium in the most hilarious way.

After showing off his recently purchased Stone Cold Steve Austin vintage T-shirt to the media, Kittle let them know that he had tickets to WWE's Tables, Ladders and Chairs 2018 in San Jose and really needed to jet in order to make the event.

You can’t blame a massive wrestling fan for wanting to duck out of the interviews in order to make it to the event on time, especially since he had some pretty awesome seats for the whole thing.

Kittle has started 21 of 29 games he has appeared in over the past two seasons and has 115 career receptions for 1,669 yards and six touchdowns. Since entering the league Kittle has put up the 4th most receiving yards at the tight end position (Travis Kelce – 2,258, Zach Ertz – 1,858, Rob Gronkowski – 1,742), and has a chance to move up to third on that list by season’s end.
