Frederik Andersen has fit in nicely with the Toronto Maple Leafs since he was acquired from the Anaheim Ducks in 2016. Over his first two seasons with the Leafs, Andersen has won 71 games, including a franchise-high 38 last year, and there’s a chance he’ll hover around that win total this season after the offseason signing of John Tavares.

Since there will be more eyes on him than usual this year, the 28-year-old Herning, Denmark native had a brand new mask designed for the upcoming campaign and it’s pretty awesome.

Frederik Andersen knew what he wanted on his new Toronto Maple Leafs mask💪🏻. He wanted to pay tribute to his home country of Denmark🇩🇰 and an awesome and super cool figure from Denmark🇩🇰❤️. I loved it and picked up my airbrush guns and started to paint😍. His Lego buddy shows up on the mask and becomes The Blue Knight Of The Blue and White…👊🏻! In the background you can find Toronto city🏙, and with such a cool hero in the city all bad guys must watch out😱. Frederik and I have been working toghether for many, many years, ever since Frederik was a very young goalie in Denmark. Thanks Frederik!🙏🏻 Love to be your mask painter!😀 @frederikandersen31 @mapleleafs @nhl @daveart #nhl #DaveArtTheCradleOfCreativity 🤓 #DaveArtThePaintNerd

Andersen has rocked LEGO characters and Batman on previous masks, but this time he combined the two and included a LEGO Batman to go along with the Toronto skyline inside a massive leaf.

Like his previous masks, Andersen’s newest creation known as ‘The Blue Knight of The Blue and White’ was designed by David Gunnarsson and is easily one of the nicest masks he’s rocked since moving to Toronto.
