We’re starting to think that Auston Matthews and Frederik Andersen are one of the more underrated bromances in the NHL.
Over the past couple of days we’ve seen several hilarious moments between the two players including one of the most intense staring contests we’ve seen in years. Now, they’re onto the video game talk. It has been discussed before that Frederik Andersen, Auston Matthews, Mitch Marner and Tyler Bozak frequently play Xbox Live together. This is all from a great series made by the Maple Leafs called Leaf to Leaf (You can watch it on their website).
The latest game that they’re playing is Fortnite and there appear to be some different rankings than what we’ve heard in the past.
Now, before we go too far down this rabbit hole, it’s entirely possible that Andersen is flattering Matthews with the opposite answer because he does seem rather surprised. We mention this because in the past, Mitch has claimed that he was working to make Matthews “less terrible” at Call of Duty.
