The Los Angeles Lakers are returning to action on Friday, and you know that the team will have a number of tributes planned for the night.

Frank Vogel and his coaching staff are making a gesture of their own, swapping out their usual footwear for Kobe’s signature sneakers for tonight’s game.

There’s a good chance that we’ll see LeBron in a pair of Kobe’s as well — he was seen wearing an unreleased pair during shootaround before the game.

Sales of Kobe sneakers and other gear have skyrocketed due to fans wanting to show love, with Nike selling out their stock entirely, and it’s no surprise that the Lakers will honour Kobe’s iconic sneaker line with their footwear tonight.

Every fan in Staples Center will have their chance to represent Kobe on Friday, too — the Lakers are giving out free No. 8 and 24 shirts at the arena.
