Following Friday night's New York Mets game against the Arizona Diamondbacks, it's apparent that Francisco Lindor may have some remarkable acting skills following a story he told the media within a post-game presser.
During the game, fans believed that Lindor and Jeff McNeil were arguing in the team tunnel, as their Mets teammates and crew followed to find out what the commotion was.
But what Lindor revealed in the presser is absolutely, completely and utterly not what fans thought went down, as he states that the two ran down the tunnel to debate on whether they saw a rat or raccoon.
We're honestly beyond confused right now because we're actually split 50/50 on whether Lindor and McNeil did in fact see a creepy New York-sized rat or if he's just gone down Broadway one too many times and is now a pretty good actor trying to divulge any team issues to the media.
Regardless, this situation is hilarious either way you look at it and fans online absolutely ate it right up.
