One of the hardest parts of being a coach (we imagine) is motivating your team during a losing streak, especially if you've been the coach of the same team for a long period of time.

There are only so many things you can say to a team in times of adversity, but the best coaches in the world find a way to get their message across in different ways and keep their players motivated.

There's been a lot of heat on Mike McCarthy of the Green Bay Packers this season (and rightfully so) as Green Bay is 4-6-1, but by all accounts his players and former players enjoy playing for him and his motivating tactics.

The Packers have lost 4 of their last 5 games and they haven't won a road game this season. That prompted former Packer Will Blackmon to share what McCarthy would do during a losing streak and more players chimed in on the odd punishment.
That's one way to punish your team for not being able to win games on the road.  Blackmon went on to say that he loved playing for McCarthy and that his motivating methods work as the Packers won the Super Bowl years later.
