The NFL is a no-mercy organization. It can make a superstar out of someone, giving them all the money and fame that they could dream of, but it can also send you packing just as quickly. Many stars quickly fall out of favour, often due to age not allowing a player to keep up with the youthful league. In the case of Dwayne Bowe, he wasn’t going to let the NFL swipe away the spotlight.
Since he last played in 2015, Bowe has been taking steps towards a different facet of the entertainment business.
One look at Bowe’s Instagram and you’ll see that he’s taking steps towards becoming a professional rapper. The page has been taken over by album-cover looking photos, rap-lyric captions, and even a video of Bowe rapping to a beat.
We’ve seen athletes slide their way into the rap game before, we’ll see if “Money Bo” can make it in this world. For a man that allegedly dropped $25,000 at a strip club in approximately 20 miuntes, we'd say he's fitting in so far.
